Meet Chef Lori Friedlander

Chef Lori was born in Staten Island, New York to Jewish immigrant parents. Her love of cooking and baking comes from watching her mother in the kitchen, prepping for Sabbath and the high holidays. A graduate of The Institute of Culinary Education in 2005, Lori went to work for the famous Levain bakery prior to opening her own company, Getting Baked with Lori Inc.

Lori’s love of baking and cannabis create an extraordinary experience, helping elderly folks, people who are post-surgery and many more with her medicated treats. Aside from the care taken in the baking process, Lori sources only the best ingredients for her baked goods, seeking out ingredients that are non-GMO, with no or minimal pesticides, and, when possible, grown by local farmers.

Chef Lori loves creating community through her baking. Whether she’s producing a music video with the Joint Cheefs or hosting a special guest, there’s always something fun happening in her kitchen. You can catch Lori frequently in New York and New Jersey, hosting tables at events, bringing both her medicated and family-friendly goods to the masses.
